Terms of use
Last updated 9 October 2026
Cratey is a web app for building and sharing crates of songs. It is run by Designer Elo (Miracle Adigo) in Nigeria. By using Cratey you agree to these terms.
Using Cratey
- You can build and share a crate without an account. Anyone with your share link can view and play it.
- Your edit link lets anyone who has it change your crate. Keep it private.
- Please don't use Cratey for anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or try to overload or break it. We may remove crates that do.
- Crate names are filtered for offensive words and can be changed or removed if they break these terms.
Music
- Cratey plays 30 second previews supplied by Apple's iTunes catalogue, and links out to Spotify and Apple Music. The songs, artwork and names belong to their owners.
- Cratey doesn't host or sell music. Full songs are on the services we link to.
The unlock
- Free crates hold up to 10 records. A one-time payment unlocks up to 50 records, unlimited crates and seasonal themes for share images, in the browser you pay from.
- The price is shown before you pay and charged by our payment provider, Paystack. Prices can differ by country.
- You can restore the unlock on another device with the email you paid with and the payment reference from your receipt. Refunds are covered in our refund policy.
Availability
We work to keep Cratey running and your crates saved, but it's provided as is, without guarantees. Previews depend on Apple's catalogue and can disappear if a song is removed there. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using Cratey beyond the amount you paid us.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
